accommodation, apartments in Croatia
The island of KORCULAis an island of seafarers. Marco Polo is not said to have been born on Korčula, but many other equally important seafarers certainly come from Korčula. Korcula is also an island of immigrants or returnees, for example from Australia or New Zealand. The numbered streets and sense of order may surprise you /after the experience from other Croatian islands /.
The island of Korcula has an area of only 276 km2 and is not as mountainous as Brac or Hvar. The roads on the island of Korcula are very good, in comparison with the island of Hvar excellent.
The lives of the people on the islands are different from the people on the mainland. In Korčula, agriculture is the main livelihood, and the area around the town of BLATO is particularly fertile. Wine, brandy, orachovice, prosek etc. they are of very high quality, the wine is not produced here separately for tourists and separately for locals.
On the island of Korcula we offer private accommodation: both detached houses without owners, and apartments. All accommodation capacities are right by the sea near the town of BLATO or Vela Luka.
