House Mery is on the south side of the island of Hvar in the bay Veprinova. The house is right by the sea. In the bay Veprinova is a beautiful large pebble beach. The house is about 50 m away from this beach.

Guests are alone in the house. The owner lives in the town of Hvar.

You can drive to the house. It is necessary to drive about 2 km on a good stony road. Guests' cars are parked by the house on private land.

There is no electricity in the house. Lighting is provided by solar panels, stoves and refrigerators working on propane butane. An advanced solar system is installed on the roof of the house. Hot water flows in the bathrooms even in bad weather.

New for the 2020 season, the house has WiFi internet connection and a socket for charging laptops and mobile phones.

The house has two separate apartments. Each apartment has an entrance from the other side of the house. Each apartment has its own terrace.

Apartment on the ground floor: in this apartment there are two triple bedrooms /each bedroom has a double bed and a couch /, a bathroom and a kitchen /a fridge and a propane-butane stove /. Both bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom have a door to the outdoor terrace /are accessible from the terrace /

Upstairs apartment: in this apartment /the whole floor of the house /there are 5 double bedrooms, two kitchens and three bathrooms. The apartment is entered from a spacious terrace /there is an outdoor grill on the terrace /. The bedrooms /four /are oriented to the south to the sea. On this south side is a long balcony, each bedroom has a wide glass door to this balcony. Both kitchens and bathrooms are oriented to the opposite side, to the north. Each kitchen has a large refrigerator for propane butane, sink, stove, basic utensils. Each bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.

Veprinova Bay is a romantic, quiet bay with a large pebble beach.

In the bay, a local fisherman runs a small family restaurant. It offers fresh fish at good prices.

The nearest shop is in the village GDINJ /about 7 km /. Opposite the shop is an ATM and a restaurant.

A small shop was newly opened in the bay Tvrdni Dolac /about 2 km from the house /. Here it is possible to buy basic groceries, fruits, vegetables, beer, ice cream, etc. The store is open daily only in the summer season.

The nearest civilization is in the town of Jelsa /about 30 km /. There is a post office, gas station, currency exchange, many shops and restaurants.
