Elisabeth House
House ELISABETH is a new house in the bay of Torac on the south side of the island of Hvar. The house is in a fantastic location right by the sea by a large pebble beach. Guests have the entire house to themselves. Guests' cars are parked on a private lot about 50 m from the house. You can drive your car up to the house and unload your luggage.
Since there is no electricity or water supply in Torac Bay, a modern solar system with a 220 V converter is installed in Elisabeth's house. This system powers the lighting, sockets, refrigerator. that it is possible, for example, to charge a mobile phone, laptop, camera batteries, connect a shaver, a radio receiver, etc. It is not possible to connect appliances with a large power consumption, e.g. an iron, a hair dryer, a kettle, etc. It is also not possible to connect an electric boiler due to the large power consumption. The owner placed a solar boiler on the roof of the house. Guests have plenty of hot water. The house is supplied with water from a large reservoir.
WiFi, an outdoor grill and an outdoor solar shower are available to guests.
In the Elisabeth house there is a living room with a kitchenette, a small double bedroom, a bathroom and a beautiful large terrace directly above the sea above the beach. The house is new, newly furnished, ideal for a family vacation. A large pebble beach with gradual access to the sea is directly below the terrace, so parents have a perfect overview.
Torac bay is a nice wooded bay on the south side of the island of Hvar. In the bay there is a large pebble beach with gradual access to the sea. An asphalt road leads to the bay. The nearest shop is in the village of Gdinj /about 4 km/, the nearest town is Jelsa /about 30 km/. In Jelsa there is a post office, a bank, a gas station, a doctor and many shops and restaurants.
A small shop was newly opened in the bay of Tvrdni Dolac, about 100 m from the house. The shop is only open in season and is well stocked with basic food, fruit and vegetables.
